When is the Race?

What time does the race begin?
The Vinings Downhill 5K will begin promptly at 8:00AM. The 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:00AM at Jubilee.

When do I pick up my race number?
Race numbers may be picked up race morning at 7:00AM at Overlook III Building.

How do I know if I'm registered?
If you registered online, you will receive an email confirmation. If you send your entry via mail, your cancelled check is your confirmation.

When is the last day to register?
Normally you can register up to race morning. However, the racefield is limited to 1200. If we meet that number before race day, there will be no race day registration. Late fees will be assessed after August 31, 2011.

What time should I arrive on race day?
Participants should arrive by 7:00AM.

Where do I park?
The shuttle will bring you back to Vinings Jubilee for the post race party and then the shuttle will take you back to your car at the Overlook III parking lot. Alternatively, one can walk rather than take the shuttle.

Will the race be cancelled if the weather is bad?
This is a rain or shine event. Dress accordingly.

How do I volunteer for the race?
Click on the Volunteers link above in the navigation bar and follow instructions.

Where do I get my shirt?
Shirts will be distributed at the post race party at Vinings Jubilee for all finishers. You will need to present your race number to receive your shirt.
Phantom Runners will be mailed their Dri Fit shirt one week after the race or alternatively can pick up at the 1-Mile registration table at Vinings Jubilee between 8:15AM and 9:45AM race day.

Where do I check my results?
Top 20 M/F will be posted directly on this site (see Race Results link above) and full results will be posted on Active.com within 48 hours after the completion of the race.
